The review, from submission to delivered report.
Otro provides independent, written second opinions by AHPRA-registered Australian specialists. You upload your documentation; we match your case to a qualified reviewer; you receive a comprehensive written opinion you own and can share with your treating doctor.
Not a phone call. A document.
A written report is rigorous, reviewable, and shareable. You keep it, reference it, and give it to whoever you need to.
Five stages. No back-and-forth unless something is genuinely missing.
If your case needs a multi-specialist review, stages 03–05 run in parallel across both reviewers before being consolidated.
Qualified, independent, matched to the case.
Otro does not publish individual specialist profiles, and we don't take requests for a particular reviewer. Matching is done on clinical fit — the specialty and sub-specialty your case actually needs — not on who reads best on a page.
That doesn't mean an anonymous opinion. The specialist who reviews your case signs the report in their own name, with their specialty, qualifications and AHPRA registration number set out in it — so you can verify them on the national register, and your GP can see exactly whose opinion they're reading.
Independently verified against the national register on every engagement.
Matched to the specialty your case requires — and sub-specialty where applicable.
No prior treating relationship with you; no financial relationship with the parties involved in your care.
Active clinicians appointed at leading Australian hospitals or institutions.
Further sub-specialist expertise available on request. If your case is outside our capability, we'll tell you before accepting.
Structured identically, every time.
Every Otro report follows the same seven-section structure, written to a standard your GP can work with directly. You know what you're getting before you start.
A written opinion is not a new treating relationship.
