Our Service

A straightforward process for getting an independent medical second opinion, from submission to report delivery.

Step-by-step process

1

Create your account

Register with your name, email, and date of birth. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.

2

Submit your documents

Describe your condition and diagnosis, then upload your medical documents — referral letters, imaging reports, pathology results, specialist letters, and any other relevant records. The more complete your documentation, the more thorough the review.

3

Receive your quote

We review your submission and email you a quote based on the complexity of your case. No charges are applied until you agree to proceed. Reports start from $250.

4

Independent specialist review

Your case is assigned to an independent Australian specialist with relevant expertise. They review your documentation thoroughly and prepare a detailed written opinion.

5

Download your report

You'll receive an email when your report is ready. Log in to your account to download the report securely. We recommend sharing it with your treating doctor to discuss the findings.

What you'll receive

Your second opinion report is a structured clinical assessment written by your reviewing specialist. It covers:

  • A summary of all documentation reviewed
  • The specialist's independent opinion on your diagnosis
  • Commentary on your current treatment plan
  • Any alternative approaches or additional investigations worth considering
  • A clear conclusion and recommendations

Reports are typically 3-8 pages depending on case complexity.

Frequently asked questions

What is a medical second opinion?

A medical second opinion is an independent review of your diagnosis and medical documentation by a qualified specialist who is not involved in your current treatment. It provides an additional perspective to help you make informed decisions about your care.

Who reviews my case?

Your case is reviewed by an AHPRA-registered Australian medical specialist with relevant expertise in your condition. All specialists are independently verified and hold Fellowships with relevant Australian specialist colleges.

Is my information secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored securely in Australian data centres, and access is strictly controlled. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and never share your information with third parties.

Does a second opinion replace my current treatment?

No. A second opinion is advisory only and does not establish a treating relationship. We recommend discussing the findings with your current treating doctor.

Can I cancel my case?

Yes, you can cancel your case at any time before the specialist review is complete. Contact us if you need to discuss cancellation.

What if I need to provide more documents?

If the specialist needs additional information, you'll be notified by email. You can upload additional documents directly through your account.
