§ 01 · What you receive

Not a phone call. A document.

A written report is rigorous, reviewable, and shareable. You keep it, reference it, and give it to whoever you need to.

01A comprehensive written reportStructured and plain-language. Not a letter, not a note.
02A specialist’s clinical assessmentTheir own analytical opinion, based on your documentation alone.
03Honest appraisal of your current planAgreement, caveats, or alternatives — explained, not dismissed.
04Clear recommendationsActionable next steps worth raising with your GP.
05A downloadable PDF, yours to keepShare it with anyone on your care team. No vendor lock-in.
§ 02 · The process

Five stages. No back-and-forth unless something is genuinely missing.

01Day 0SubmitYou create a free account, upload referral letters, imaging and pathology, and describe your case in your own words. Card captured securely — no charge yet.
02Day 1TriageOur clinical coordinator confirms we have what we need and identifies the specialty. If anything is missing, we contact you. If the case is out of scope, we tell you right away.
03Day 2MatchWe pair your case with an AHPRA-registered Australian specialist who has expertise relevant to your condition and no connection to your treating team. On acceptance, your card is charged.
04Days 3–8ReviewThe specialist reviews your full documentation, forms an independent clinical impression, and drafts the report against our standard structure.
05Days 8–10DeliverThe finalised report is released to your account as a PDF. You receive a notification, download it, and share it however you choose.

If your case needs a multi-specialist review, stages 03–05 run in parallel across both reviewers before being consolidated.

§ 03 · Who reviews your case

Qualified, independent, matched to the case.

Otro does not publish individual specialist profiles. This is deliberate. It protects both your privacy and the independence of our reviewers — and it keeps focus on the document itself rather than on names.

AHPRA-registered

Independently verified against the national register on every engagement.

Relevant expertise

Matched to the specialty your case requires — and sub-specialty where applicable.

Genuinely independent

No prior treating relationship with you; no financial relationship with the parties involved in your care.

Currently practising

Active clinicians appointed at leading Australian hospitals or institutions.
